Dubai has stood as a symbol of luxurious extravagance, innovative and ultramodern architecture and old-world appeal which is one of its key attractions. This United Arab Emirates (UAE) state is situated on the eastern shore of the Arabic Peninsula, in the southwest corner of the Arabian Gulf.
Renowned, around the world, as a focus of international trade and advancement, Dubai has quickly become one of the top travel destinations for travelers around the world. Dubai is roughly located at sea level and the city is flanked by Abu Dhabi in the south, Sharjah in the upper east, and the Sultanate of Oman in the southeast. Islam is a major religion here but because of its large expatriate population, the city is tolerant to all other religions with several churches and temples in the vicinity. Till only 10 years back, the majority of the city’s landmass was sand cover but with the fast-paced development, the sand has been replaced with masterful engineering to rich, cutting-edge high rises and the posh luxury estates spread around the coastline.
The city has been widely recognized for its high rises and impeccable and creative architecture, specifically the world's tallest structure, the Burj Khalifa. It is only here that one can shop in both selective fashion shopping centres and conventional trade souks, and enjoy feasts with dishes from around the world while staying in 7-star lodging.
